A project for ALL Brussels residents

A project for ALL Brussels residents

Since my arrival at MR Brussels, I have worked as part of a team on the development of a project aimed at all Brussels residents. We wanted to reach out to young people from Auderghem as well as those from Anderlecht, families from the north as well as those from the south of the city, and entrepreneurs from all neighborhoods.

For too long, messages have been fragmented. People do not experience the same reality because politics has often put them in boxes.

Our vision is very clear: all Brussels residents have the right to live safely, send their children to good schools, be supported in their projects, develop or find a job, move around easily, benefit from quality infrastructure, have housing, access to green spaces. In short, for Brussels to shine.

This message is powerful. Because 20 years of left-wing policies have led to impoverishment of the region. Social mobility is broken and the stairwell is barricaded with community issues to hide the original betrayal: the left-wing vote did not help the weakest.

Our position on the neutrality of the state or other more community-related themes is the same everywhere and will not change. It is more often explained and understood than one might think: we are not here to please this or that community. No, we are here to defend a common value foundation so that everyone feels as good as possible in a rich but complex society. And despite that, support is growing in the neighborhoods. Because we have answers to their priorities.

We are the opposite of communitarianism. Moreover, the same people who are now trying to label us with this tag are the same ones who call us racists every 15 days.

I am extremely proud to be part of an urban, modern, and open movement rooted in strong values.

We have focused on one goal: to change the region from June 2024 onwards.
Anyone who wants to join us knows our project. I am happy to be surrounded by people who represent all facets of our city.

We are here to stay.
