🇧🇪🇳🇱🇱🇺 Artificial Intelligence & regionale samenwerking: terugblik op de plenaire vergadering van de Benelux Assemblee in Luxemburg

I had the opportunity to represent Brussels this weekend at the plenary session of the Benelux Interparliamentary Assembly, which took place at the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg.

This parliamentary meeting allowed us to delve into a subject that is becoming increasingly strategic for our societies: artificial intelligence.

The thematic debate organized on Friday, March 21, brought together ministers and experts from the three Benelux countries to discuss several key issues:

• What European regulation to frame AI?

• How to ensure transparency, ethics, and digital sovereignty?

• What opportunities for our regional economies?

This exchange was particularly enriching and demonstrates how cross-border cooperation remains a powerful lever to anticipate tomorrow's challenges.

I warmly thank my colleagues from the Dutch, Luxembourgish, and Belgian delegations for the quality of the discussions and the constructive spirit that animated these days.

More than ever, AI must be approached in a responsible manner, with pragmatism, responsibility, and ambition.
